By all accounts they were modders too; it's even stated that they want to hear from people if you find this sort of glitch and 'won't be mad' in the code of conduct. Just glitching into something won't get you banned; there are several walls that can be fallen through just by the dumb luck of using your vehicle in the right proximity to them - you can't ban someone for falling through a geometry glitch. People who've done it and picked up the dead ghost in there haven't been banned. The banned party had the ghost shell equipped that there's no current way to earn bar modding it from the code.
