Its not quite enough of an mmo to be able to actually compare to mmo's and yet just enough of one to create an atmosphear and pve aspect that tends to create unbalance. Im sure the balance portion will be a constant battle of patches and tweaks the lifespan of the game. The real problem in my mind is that it falls almost too much inbetween game types meaning you get the benefits of both but also the short coming of each. Lending to both double the praise in some regards but also double the critisism. You make a valid point but thats more a problem of the game to its core more so than the issue of game cost + dlc cost. And core issues are more based on personal preference and bungies ability to fix or patch those issues as time goes on. Which may or may not make the game great or destroy it. I have high hopes though

This is an excuse people are using. Its a fps not an mmo its a mmo not a fps. Its both and you look at it from both ways.
