That's completely false.
BF4 forced a premium membership to gain access to the DLC.
<~ Paid for it. Had it.
Day 1 DLC were available for both BF3 and BF4 --- I was one of the idiots that paid for it.
It WAS locked content. It WAS on the disc unless you PAID for it. - Please, get your facts straight.
