It has been shown to increase the absorption rate of non - heme iron by 30%. Thus you can get more than enough iron from non-animal sources.

Eating a heme source along with a nonheme source proves more beneficial, which is what I'm after. Aka, a healthy balanced diet. A vegan is as unhealthy as a carnivore. If you deny it, you delude yourself. Also, those supplements come with unhealthy side effects as well.

Care to list those side effects? "Vegan diet is as unhealthy as a carnivorous diet" -- you cannot be serious. A properly structured vegan diet isn't lacking in any essential nutrients, is low in saturated fats and high in fiber. A carnivorous diet is unscientific, kidney - busting stupidity.

  • Stomach pains and ulcers, diarrhea, some products are laced with ingredients found in prescription drugs. In fact, most doctors don't recommend the use of supplements, in place of a balanced diet. And plants aren't lacking? Unless you enjoy licking moss off of a wet rock, you need b12 for basic brain development and function, and no plants have that In all honesty though, saying one diet is better than the other is laughable in scientific views, because everyone's body works and reacts different chemically. What works for one person, may not for the other. It's called Anecdotal Science. If a Vegan diet works for you, great. Enjoy it. But don't condemn others based on your views.
Stomach pains and ulcers, diarrhea, some products are laced with ingredients found in prescription drugs.
[Citation needed] Side effects are only common when people take supplements in excess.
most doctors don't recommend the use of supplements, in place of a balanced diet.
Doctors commonly recommend supplements because even meat eaters are likely to be deficient in one thing or another. You didn't think vitamin companies make most of their money from vegans, did you? No, vegetarians and vegans are, as usual, a minority. Getting all nutrients on a regular (meat based) diet simply isn't feasible. Here.
And plants aren't lacking? Unless you enjoy licking moss off of a wet rock, you need b12 for basic brain development and function, and no plants have that
We have been explicitly discussing the usefulness of supplements, and you completely suspend that to make an absurd point about licking moss?
In all honesty though, saying one diet is better than the other is laughable in scientific views
Yet you plainly said a vegan diet is worse.
because everyone's body works and reacts different chemically. What works for one person, may not for the other.
And any differences can be identified and addressed. Does this mean a vegan diet will absolutely work for everyone? No. Will it work for most people? Yes. Should people just assume it won't work for them without trying it and doing research? No. Since every nutrient can be obtained from non-animal sources, it is understandable that if a meat based diet works for you, a vegan diet will also.
If a Vegan diet works for you, great. Enjoy it. But don't condemn others based on your views.
I didn't condemn you. You tried to claim that a vegan diet simply couldn't work for you, and I provided a possible solution. Far too often people make claims without doing proper research.
