There are old E3 videos showing the hairdo man from the reef pointing a gun at the guardian in one of the "new" missions on Earth. I can't believe you're here trying to make excuses for them. By the way, I got a bridge for sale if you're interested.

Is that video cut-content or did they just decide to change the story? you can't just assume anything without actually knowing.

Change the story to what? There basically is no story. You go around and Dinklage says esoteric things while you shoot aliens, the end. In the words of the speaker: "I could tell you about the great war". But he doesn't. That's about as far as the story goes. Here's what I do know. They lied about a lot of things before the game was released. There's absolutely no reason to believe that they didn't also lie about selling us the full game. Do you honestly believe that what we got was 5 years worth of work? Maybe from an amateur studio working on very first project from the ground up, but not from Bungie. That bridge is still for sale, by the way. I've gotten a lot of offers but I'm holding on to it just for you.

I think you might be confused because I offered to sell him a bridge. It's an old saying used when you're talking to someone who is gullible or naive. "If you believe that, then I've got a bridge to sell you." A long time ago a con man actually sold the Brooklyn Bridge multiple times to people with more money than brains, like our dear friend Jon. "If you believe that, I've got an expansion to sell you."

Well I guess it's an added bonus that the bridge I have for sale can also be lived under. Jon's getting a hell of a deal, a bridge and a habitat!

yes I do believe it took them 5 years to make the game because they had to make one game for 4 DIFFERENT consoles and they had to implement seamless multiplayer matchmaking. that along with development for the first dlc. so yeah I would think it would be at least 5 years for that
