Well, how about that? The doomsayers were right after all. Bungie. Come on. This is bullshit. I love the game. I'm not one of these "Destiny sucks" people. I think it's fun and addicting and exhilarating, and I even think there's a good amount of content included at launch, which I know many people disagree with. But this is straight-up bullshit. On-disc DLC? You're going to charge us $35 for content we've already bought?! Really?! You know this is bullshit, Bungie. I can't wait to see you try to wiggle your way out of this one.

  • They won't. They'll remain completely silent about all of it... just as they did when those data-mined details came out explaining every last thing you'd be able to do in the game during the beta. All of the naysayers... "It's just a BETA! Why would they have all of that info on their BETA servers!? Bungie is smarter than that!" Funny how nobody talks about that anymore... you know, how many people were mad that the only place to explore on Earth is the stupid Cosmodrome... and how all of the people were like "It's just a BETA! there will be more on release!" Mmhmm. Sure.

IMO, the launch content was fine. I'm not one of these whiny brats who complain endlessly about how "little" content we got when, in fact, Destiny has just as much content as any Halo game ever did. There's nothing wrong with one area per planet. People just had their expectations set too high. However, on-disc DLC is bullshit. It's a manipulative business practice I cannot bring myself to support. On top of that, the expansions have shockingly little content for their price point. I blame Activision. I cannot reconcile Bungie's past behavior with what's going on now. This has to be Activision's fault.

  • If Bungie allowed it... then they share responsibility.

  • Sure, they share responsibility for allowing it to happen, but it can't have been their decision. I wonder how much Activision's involvement has influenced things like Marty being fired...

  • All I can say is... this is what happens when you lose half of the leading staff responsible for making your past products great.
