The difference is that neither Tomb Raider or LTOU us claimed they were something they weren't. Neither claimed they were massive open worlds where there is something new to do every time you get on and would completely revolutionize gaming when in reality the only thing to do is play the same -blam!-ing shit over and over again but on harder difficulties.
At least with LTOU you can beat it and trade it in for 75% of what you paid for it and not be strung along endlessly with bullshit patches and the promise to un-blam!- the game one day.
