Yea damage is balanced and it shoots decently fast. That and a lot of people messaged me and asked if it was an exotic lol

Well, all weapons are pretty much equal in Crucible, but cmon. That starter rifle is the closest thing to a modern weapon we got. I would use it. Too bad they don't have a group of old weapons before the start of Destiny like that. You could have a mix of old world and new world weapons.

One of my freinds dared me to use to starting weapon on the crucible and we faced a team of legendary fusion rifles and their leader was a 29. We'll I went on 2 10 kill streaks. #OLD SCHOOL
