My hunter would have a rusted shut locket that was on her when revived via her ghost. As well as a small journal and pen to keep a log of her travels

She does a little bit of both. She takes notes on the terrain and enemy habitats. She also draws images to go along with her notes. Her book is full of various images of the fallen, hive, vex, and cabal. She likes to keep tabs on weaknesses
