"STOP RIGHT THERE ERIC!" Thomas said, pointing the revolver at his best friend. His finger on the trigger, sweating and shaking. "Thomas, put. the. gun. down. I didn't do this, you know that!" More footsteps came up behind Eric, it was John.
John stopped and stared, his friend that he'd known since 4th grade was pointing a gun at him. Thomas was shivering, he's never fired a gun before, he never wanted too. But he might have to now. Eric looked over at John, then back to Thomas. "Listen, if we had known, that the money belonged to Oliver. We would've left it alone!" Thomas responded, blinded by rage. "MY WIFE IS DEAD BECAUSE OF YOU!"
"THOMAS! It isn't true!" John said, scared shitless. "Listen to yourself tom! We're standing on top of a roof at 3:00 in the morning! We can settle this later!"
"No, we can't!" Thomas said, walking farther away from his two friends. "There's nothing to talk about! You pissed off the wrong people! That includes me! You killed my wife, I can't let you two leave here alive!"
Eric was stuttering now, "T-Tom... Put it down..... Please, listen to us." Thomas pointed the gun at Eric now. "No, I know what you did, I just don't know why you did it" A loud shot echoed through the nearby streets, as A bullet pierced through Eric's chest.
John stood, staring at someone who's life had been stolen, just as easily as it had been given. He looked over at Thomas, "Wh-Why?" The only words he could mutter. Thomas looked at John, not a single thought of sadness or remorse in his eyes. He pulled back the hammer of the pistol. And fired again.
John now laid dead. Thomas was done here. He had gotten revenge, his purpose was now nonexistent. He dropped the weapon and turned around. He stared over the edge of the roof. More footsteps were heard, as a mysterious stranger took Thomas's life.
The crime scene was interesting.
