Okay, so I totally didn't expect to get hooked on Destiny like I am. Some might argue that my obsession with this awesome game is unhealthy, literally and figuratively. I'm certain that other DoD's are in the same situation. However, has anyone else also preordered other games? Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor (SOM) is coming out on Tuesday and I've already paid it off. But I don't know that I even want to play it now! I don't think I'll be able to take Destiny out of my PS4 to make room for the SOM disc. And Assassin's Creed: Unity is out in November, so hopefully by then I'll be off of this Destiny high.
Suggestions? Thoughts? Sound off!

So I was planning on picking up SOM today because I'm starting to feel "plateau'd" with Destiny. I've maxed both sub-classes of Warlock and have started building a Hunter; Destiny's starting to lose its appeal. I thought my decision to pick up SOM was solid until I logged on to the forums and saw a hand cannon in the ArchAngels background. Then I realized, "SOM doesn't have any guns!" I want to play with guns and make things go bang and boom and explode. Can't really do that in SOM, so I guess I'm still going to hold off on it for a while. See ya in the stars, Guardians!

I'm evening my odds by targeting Arkham Knight releasing mid next year. By then I'll be over Destiny (& dropping bucks on DLC) or I'll be as buzzed as I am now with the game (also players) & I will still have my Collectible Batmobile on the desk. How can I lose? cheers, S G

I'm a huge fan of the Borderlands series but I doubt I'll get the Pre-Sequel since I just want to play Destiny

Well I am missing all the TV shows starting but the DVR is recording them. Destiny it is for the foreseeable future.

Anybody else read the Dev Update and Hotfix issue? Things like this make me want to keep playing Destiny!!! I'm glad they pay attention and strive to make things better for the Guardians. I think I'm definitely not going to get SOM this Tuesday. I'll save the money for ACU. Also, I'm VERY glad that I purchased the Expansion Pass (at $5 off through Gamestop). Woot woot. Go Bungie!

Sup Flyboy! Been drooling on SOM since it was the cover story in Game Informer. However, I too am not even thinking about grabbing until this addiction lets up. Add to that the ability to chat with friends while playing ensures the addiction will carry for a while. Remember, "sometimes it takes just a little bit more to be a champion!" HAH

Flyboy, I went in this knowing I would probably not want to play anything else. Some of the other games coming out have my attention but nothing like Destiny right now. I am hooked for sure. I have been plotting since last sunday what to do with my strange coins. Is it better to buy exotic armor or should I bundle them together and get an exotic weapon. I don't have a legendary weapon on any of my characters and feel like I could be doing better in PvE. Still deciding.....
