I'll sign though it will not do much.
If this were to get to Deej and they were to discuss it what's to stop them from nuking Offtopic? When they look at the members being assholes to the new members and the new members are leaving because of that. It looks bad and if enough people are leaving the site due to Offtopic they will just cut Offtopic and move on because then they will know new members won't be harassed nearly as much.

It depends. If Offtopic is driving people off the site and creating a bad community for some users why wouldn't he? At this point the new users these last few months alone almost outweigh the Offtopic members (though numbers =/= quality). You pretty much have 3 options. 1.) Play nice and let it blow over in the ensuing months like it has before and help these new people coming in. 2.) Petition and get something's changed with possibility rule/COC changed to be more strict. 3.)Petition and still have members be assholes to people to get the consideration of a nuke with most likely rule changes. I'm in no way advocating that we lay down and give up but there are better ways to do it. Do you want to go to the offsite and hang out there?
