Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) is the most active form of Omega-3 fatty acids in the body and primarily found in animal foods. The plant form of Omega-3s, ALA, is inefficiently converted to DHA in the body. [b]Other reasons[/b] The greatest flaw in the vegan diet is the massive lack in B12 from non-consumption of meet. In fact, B12 deficiency is very common in vegans, one study showing that a whopping 92% of vegans are deficient in this critical nutrient. There is also no clinical or scientific evidence that shows the vegan lifestyle as being in any way superior to any other. In fact the horrible diet known as the atkins diet is considered healthier. The majority of vegan promoters use fear mongering and flat out lies to spread there practice. I decided this was more than enough to discredit vegans.
