Cows would go extinct of we didn't farm them, so I say do your conservation of species and eat a burger!

If people say it's cruel to eat dogs, will you tell them we have to, because dogs will go extinct?

Well, no, because dogs wouldn't go extinct without human intervention. Unless you're referring to chihuahuas or the like. Cows are dumb, slow and easy prey for other animals- which is why they don't live in the wild. Dogs can hunt and are aggressive, and are able to survive.
