Yup. I don't like the pvp, patrol gets old fast, and strikes get old fast too. I want to raid but guess what...need a few legendaries to get it.

Do* What do you play to get them? The level 24? Strike? Weekly heroic? Nightfall?

As far as I can tell you are just as unlikely to get one killing lots of enemies as you are doing strikes. The fastest I have found is to find a checkpoint before a lot of enemies and kill them then die and repeat the process. I get a decent number of engrams I use to upgrade the cryptarch and hope for legendaries from him.
