At least you got a gun. I get -blam!-ing upgrade materials.

I don't even get the materials. I have given him a few legendaries and rares today, only to be awarded Strange Coins and Motes of Light. None of them even make it into my inventory. At least you get upgrade materials. :/

I still haven't found a use for them yet either ;p

You'll need them to level up legendary and exotic weapons. Kinda like how you need weapon parts for rare items.
