Last game you were hyped for this much?
I was incredibly hyped for Halo: Reach, primarily because I adored the franchise.

Bungie made a lot of questionable decisions behind-the-scenes that really turned me off to the whole project for a while. (Firing Marty, signing a deal with Activision, etc...) I'm still not happy with Bungie, but the game turned out to be amazing. The most hype I've ever had for a game was Halo 3. Oh my God, I was so amped for that game. I skipped school for it, which is the ONLY time I've ever done that. Lots of Halo veterans tell me that the hype for Halo 2 was even crazier, but I only got into the series after Halo 2 had already come out, so I never witnessed it first-hand.
