Guys and gals, my opinion below and no I am not affiliated with Bungie or Activision. In fact after Activision put a certain face in a game and did not let me back out of that, I despise Activision but: Bee, Fly, centipede, lion + many others. See my last post below. I also thought I knew it all as I built all my own systems since 1995. That includes web sites, businesses sites and commercial Wifi networks that auto bill those accessing my networks. In other words I sell internet access. I doubt it is the Bungie/Activision servers or their software anymore. Your friend or built your access for gaming? That is now obsolete! My game system (PS4). My internet provider: (Comcast). My modem: (Comcast business/commercial). My router: (TP-Link TL-SG1008D) Settings: (None, all plug and play) My Wifi network: ( By Meraki but not part of this as I am now hard wired) My system now works flawlessly for 12 hours. See my original post below. If you are still having issues with your PS4, it is on your end somewhere. That could be anywhere from your council to your internet provider. You need full speed access like at least 8 Mbps. Dial up: Forget it. 1.5 mbps: not enough! Wifi: Forget it. AT&T: Forget it. I doubt them as they often do not provide what they promise. I caught them repeatedly switching my speed to their slowest even though I paid for their highest. Comcast: Yes they suck + bill way in advance and I hate them but they work! Last post below: This is not just one item First night everything worked great, just plug and play. (not to many people on their servers or my network) Second afternoon it appeared the Bungie servers were overloaded and I kept getting booted every minuet. (to many people on their server) By that night it would run for 10 min to a full mission. (Bungie may have fixed a bug or added a server) The following night the intermittent getting booted was really bothering me. My network Nat 2, a modem, a router and wifi. I could stream a movie at 2 million bits or better but the game kept booting me. My wife was watching a movie via cat 5 and my daughter was watching a movie via wifi and this was really causing problems for my gaming So I made up a 50' cat 5 cable and plugged my PS4 directly into my router. My network still reads Nat 2 but the speed test went from 3mbps up to 16 mbps up and 5 mbps down. Everything works perfect. So try working on improving your network as you certainly have no way to fix theirs.
