Why is it so hard to group for PVE?
For an online-only co-op shooter they sure have made it hard to work together with other players.
Why are there so many barriers to communicating with other players and finding someone to group with in order to do the PVE missions?
Why can't I see a list of who in my clan is currently playing and invite them to a fireteam if they are around the same level as me?
Is there a better way other than having to add dozens of clanmates to my PSN friends list?

It's pretty easy. Just select a mission you want to do, hang near the spawn, set you fireteam setting to public, and look for random to invite or groups to be invited to. People seem surprised when they get random fireteam invites probably because they don't realize you can target people with RS and invite/message/inspect etc.
