Could everyone getting bee error post in here

Please if you're getting this error post in this topic. No stupid remarks about get better internet or other childish remarks. I'll start off. Xbox one - wired connection - ports forwarded - open nat - no problems on any other game. UPDATE I don't want to be the one to say this but I went and bought a new modem/router(DSL) just plugged it in and no errors for the past 5 hours in the pvp which I couldn't play at all before. Don't know if that means anything but it seems to have taken care of me. UPDATE 2 I've been asked a few questions so I thought I'd do another update with my settings I switched from a netgear combo unit supplied by my isp to an Actiontec GT784WN wireless N DSL Modem. Like I said when I first hooked it up I just made sure plug and play was enabled on the router and started up the xbox and destiny I went straight to the crucible and began playing and haven't stopped since, no more errors at all the only problem was that my nat type was strict. To fix that I forwarded the following ports Port 88 (UDP) Port 3074 (UDP and TCP) Port 53 (UDP and TCP) Port 80 (TCP) Port 500 (UDP) UDP Port 3544 (UDP) UDP Port 4500 (UDP) Port 3075 (UDP and TCP) *for call of duty Ports 7500-17899 (TCP)*from bungie Ports 30000-40399 (TCP)*from bungie Ports 35000-35099 (UDP)*from bungie I now have an open nat and no more errors and even though I suck I can play PvP. I really hope this helps this is exactly what I have done, I compared the settings on each modem/router and other than a few years difference in manufacturing there was no difference.

  • just got the killer "bee" connection problem. Beta no issue, Recently have been in, but not seen anyone in tower, Moon or earth... I could see the blue dots / triangle on the mini map But couldn't search and find anyone to play in crucible, reboot XBOX and was able to play a multiplayer SALVAGE on the moon, but just got booted at start of second match with request to search "bee" on help.bungie.net, so here I is...FYI running wifi, and XBOX states network and Multi-player connect is good

      • I had no problem with the Beta version! First day of release there was no problem. Since then I cannot stay in a pvp game for more than a few minutes. I tried the port forward fix, which did not work. Many of my friends have the same BT router and aren't having this problem. Can Bungie offer any explanation for this? Are they in the process of fixing the issue? Any news/update would be appreciated.

One more thing and this is again only my opinion but based on my experience: If you have Comcast but are not using their rental modem,: You will still have major issues. Yes there are many modems that claim to work with Comcast. I bought and tried many. They worked OK (until I really pushed multiuser content or the band width I paid for ) Than the multi user system crashed and locked. With enough complaints Comcast came here and installed their same as modem for free and everything worked great. Two months later the rental bill showed up. So if you think it is OK to use a different modem than the Comcast rental modem, It is not true as Comcast is a dixk. Yes they will block your aftermarket modem (even an exact copy of theirs) and force you to pay that extra $10 a month to use their modem as this lets them monitor your every move.

Guys and gals, my opinion below and no I am not affiliated with Bungie or Activision. In fact after Activision put a certain face in a game and did not let me back out of that, I despise Activision but: Bee, Fly, centipede, lion + many others. See my last post below. I also thought I knew it all as I built all my own systems since 1995. That includes web sites, businesses sites and commercial Wifi networks that auto bill those accessing my networks. In other words I sell internet access. I doubt it is the Bungie/Activision servers or their software anymore. Your friend or built your access for gaming? That is now obsolete! My game system (PS4). My internet provider: (Comcast). My modem: (Comcast business/commercial). My router: (TP-Link TL-SG1008D) Settings: (None, all plug and play) My Wifi network: ( By Meraki but not part of this as I am now hard wired) My system now works flawlessly for 12 hours. See my original post below. If you are still having issues with your PS4, it is on your end somewhere. That could be anywhere from your council to your internet provider. You need full speed access like at least 8 Mbps. Dial up: Forget it. 1.5 mbps: not enough! Wifi: Forget it. AT&T: Forget it. I doubt them as they often do not provide what they promise. I caught them repeatedly switching my speed to their slowest even though I paid for their highest. Comcast: Yes they suck + bill way in advance and I hate them but they work! Last post below: This is not just one item First night everything worked great, just plug and play. (not to many people on their servers or my network) Second afternoon it appeared the Bungie servers were overloaded and I kept getting booted every minuet. (to many people on their server) By that night it would run for 10 min to a full mission. (Bungie may have fixed a bug or added a server) The following night the intermittent getting booted was really bothering me. My network Nat 2, a modem, a router and wifi. I could stream a movie at 2 million bits or better but the game kept booting me. My wife was watching a movie via cat 5 and my daughter was watching a movie via wifi and this was really causing problems for my gaming So I made up a 50' cat 5 cable and plugged my PS4 directly into my router. My network still reads Nat 2 but the speed test went from 3mbps up to 16 mbps up and 5 mbps down. Everything works perfect. So try working on improving your network as you certainly have no way to fix theirs.

      • Can people getting the Bee error in crucible games see if they still get it on the 3v3 or rumble game types? I am only getting it on the 6v6 game modes, so it's obviously something to do with the number of connections.

        • So. Many. Bees. Can't play Crucible at all. If I'm lucky I can make it through a story mission. Open Nat, all ports forwarded, wired connection on Xbox One. for grins, I'll try wireless when I get home from work but I'm not holding out hope. I just want to know what's causing this. They have to have a general idea when the came up with the error codes, why not just tell us what the error even means? Is it because the problem lies on their end and they don't want to admit that they have an issue. Come on Bungie, just tell us what it is!

        • I've been receiving Bee errors ever since playing the Destiny Beta on the Xbox One. I had hoped that the Bee error would be limited to the Beta but it appears not. I have yet to finish a single Crucible match in either the Beta or full game.

        • I'm getting this error code very five minutes today. I know its not my internet, due to the fact that my brother is a computer tech and programmer and has personally set up my internet forgaming. No issue with the beta and no problems with any other game. Until today things were fine but now iI can't stay connected. Bungie- this issue is on your end and needs to be fixed immediately if you want people to continue playing your game. Appreciate it if you actually read the posts here and act immediately.

          • Ok, this must be related to upload speed requirments. We can have 1 person play without issue, 2 never works in the 6v6 modes, but 2 can play in the 6 player modes! try modes with less players until bungle fix this mess!!!

          • delapug seems luckier than some of us will be. I've tried two different combo router/modems (Zyxel 660 and a Netgear N600) to no avail. I purchased a stand-alone TP-Link modem today, hooked it up to a $160 Netgear router, and tried again. Things were going great. I nearly played through my first game without any hint of lag or warnings about connecting to the Destiny servers. Respawns were instant. Then, as soon as the game gives the signal that we're about to win, I'm kicked with error code Bee. This is extremely frustrating. So I guess my options are to 1) move to some place with a different ISP, 2) file a grievance with the Microsoft store to get my $90 back, citing that Bungie was not honest regarding their network requirements, or 3) dispute the charge with my credit card company when option 2 fails.

          • I have been getting the bee error, like all the time, I unable to finish mission. What I don't understand is that I never did get that error while playing the beta but now I can't even play the game because of this, and I see my friends being able to play and it's really pissing me off!!! Just hopefully bungie will deal with this ASAP( like next week) else I'm just gonna be selling the game and buying something else even if it's Destiny that I wanna play to.

          • Bungie should talk to both Sony & MS about moving Crucible to their respective cloud gaming services - I feel this would alleviate a raft of errors encountered. This would also reduce server load for Bungie, as these servers would no longer be used for matchmaking, and theses resources could then be used by PvE mode, which may in turn reduce any issues in PvE mode. But hey, what do I know; I'm just the guy covered in bee stings every time I go into the Crucible.
My NAT is open Static IP used for my Xbox Static IP is in DMZ Recommend ports from both XBL & those mentioned in Centipede error open and pointing to static IP Other games - no problem. Destiny - will I ever get to play PvP without bee-ing booted?
• The bee still lives... I've found that I can now play for a few hours before the bee error starts "attacking." But once it does, it doesn't stop.

            • I have Destiny on Xbox one. I bought the game on release and had no problems the first day. Second day some problems came, I started getting kicked from servers sometimes, but was not such big of a deal. Yesterday the real problems came (Thursday). Yesterday I started good, but after a few hours I started getting kicked, more often the longer I played. The game kept kicking me with codes like "fly" and "bee". Around 8pm I could not even get on a planet, not even tower. I quit the game and it got better a bit later, with better I mean 3disconnects in a hour, that is "better" if I compare with how it was before... (Friday) Today I played in the morning it was same as the evening, later on the day the same problem came. The difference now is that I can't even get into the game now without being disconnected. The error codes I've got recently is: Bee, fly, lion, centipede, rabbit and Hawk. When I tried like a half hour ago I also got messages like "Not signed into a profile" and "no connection". It's so annoying, I really like this game and this problem is Driving me Insane! My NAT type is open and I have a home internet with ethernet cable. No other game have ever complained about my connection or kicked me from servers, so why are you Destiny?, Would appreciate help, thanks for reading...
