It's the Halo 4 medals. They're small, they're ugly, and they pop up way too much.
Also, I expect perfection, especially on a front that doesn't involve that much design time other than simply having one single artist creating larger and better-looking medal icon assets. I'm not demanding something that would take weeks to implement.

I am a graphic designer. You would be surprised how much work and planning goes into the icons.

So? It's just a circle with stars in it. You're complaining about something completely irrelevant to your enjoyment of the game.
