Aside that it's a different universe and era, I don't think so. I think Bungie would get in trouble for doing so as well, as Halo is now for 343i, which is from Microsoft and they're kinda... whiney on that stuff

Kind of sad really... Both Bungie and 343i have used references to Roosterteeth plenty of times, without permission. But they're not the kind to care about it and just let them do it. But if anyone makes a Microsoft reference somewhere... you better watch it.

343i gave a nod to Bungie here... The "Marathon" or "Reclaimer" symbol doesn't show up anywhere else in Halo 4 as far as I know

Interesting... never saw that one before! Guess it could be possible it's just a reference as a curtsey nod... or 343i paid a small royalty fee for it. either way, least it's nice it's in there
