• How...objective and non-biased of you. I play both Halo and Call of Duty with a huge preference for the former over the latter. I may not be a big Call of Duty fan, but I recognize why the series is so popular and that they are actually fun well-made games, even if over the years they have not changed much AT ALL. Advanced Warfare actually looks like it will be different, but that's not the point. If you were actually serious that you would want anyone with this color scheme to be trolled endlessly, you would mark yourself as someone who has about as much class as those you are looking to harass. Thankfully, due to Bungie's awesome insight, there is no proximity chat in Destiny. See you, starside!

 •
but I recognize why the series is so popular and that they are actually fun well-made games
I commend you for having the balls to say this and for being yourself... But, many would disagree with you. These days, anyway. My reason for no more COD: It feels like you die faster in every next COD... I miss being able to "turn on" my opponents. This one appears to be going in this direction, for sure. At least, judging from the videos I've seen.

 • I think a lot of the hate comes from the fact that Halo was THE first person shooter to beat, but then CoD took off with Modern Warfare and it's more visceral (and by comparison) more realistic gun fights and it's multiplayer progression loop. It was also multi-platform therefore started selling a ton. Suddenly, Halo was no longer the best selling FPS. While I definitely prefer the more skill-based play in Halo, I have a lot of fun with CoD. Ultimately, I always end up wanting to go back to Halo, but some of my friends only play CoD, even though they were beasts at Halo.

 • Totally. I don't care if I get trolled, so long as it's only by the Hive or the Vex. Everyone thinks they're very serious, but those -blam!-ers are pretty funny!

 • Perhaps, but many of my friends who were really good at Halo, prefer CoD. They just like the gameplay tempo better. Different strokes for different folks.
