I don't remember the name of the guy that said it but Activision did recently state that they expected advanced warfare to be the most pre ordered game of 2014. I guess this was the best idea they had to try to make that happen. Very sad on Activisions part and very telling on how far the cod franchise is falling. I'm all for extras and bonuses and stuff but this is just sad.

pre order COD and play destiny 9-8-2014 , suprised they didnt do this shit
-
I know right. They would amass so many pre orders. They would be like YES WE DID IT! Then on 9/9 they see all those cancelled order numbers lol.
-
This is kinda bad, u know Bungie didn't want to do this shit, COD and Bungie games have been going head to head for 10 years , prolly activision scrambling for more pre orders after Destiny blew the -blam!-ing roof off with them, it's kinda sad they have that power over what bungie does!
-
Well we can spread the word that this "bonus" is in the game and unlockable in the hopes to curb false preorders. I'll admit when I first heard this news I was thinking if it looks good I'll throw $5 on it then after I pick up my copy just cancel right there.
-
So strange to give bonuses for a completely different game for pre ordering CoD... I highly doubt AV will be the most pre ordered game.

It's very very sad.

Thank god Activision only has publishing rights and bungie controls all that is destiny. The last thing I want to see are mlg banners hanging in the tower with a mountain dew machine next to the cryptarch and a red bull sticker on the purple ball. Bungie did good making sure to put Activision in their place in the contract.

Love this comment. Please marry me.

Oh thank Deej! I didn't even think of how bad it would've been if Activision had full control.
