Destiny brother! Just tell them you lost your receipt that had the digital code and ask them to print you up a back up code.
English
-
What you mean?
-
In their terminal they can print up "back up" codes for people didn't receive their code.
-
But do I need to do anything or just say straight up i lost it?
-
Just ask them if they can print you up a back up code. They shouldn't have an issue doing it, they aren't losing any money, if all else fails pre-order the game then cancel it.
-
What if they ask for my shit like phone number or email to check my nig ill probably just pre order n cancel
-
All they are doing is trying to entice people into pre-ordering games. Its our job to do that, I feel if a customer is just gonna pre-order a game then cancel it just so they will get the exclusive content, I'd rather not have a cancelation I would sooner give the customer that content then take a hit.
-
What for real? I see what you're saying man thats radical its bad for you guys when they cancel a pre order?
-
Without getting into detail; yes, its bad for us. We have a % that we have to achieve. GS is a corporation man. So every time you go into a GameStop and the employees are being annoying about pre-orders its cause we wanna keep our jobs lol. Its us pleading to keep our jobs.
-
Right right I see what u mean what do u recommend i do like if I went to your store and you knew what I wanted to do how would u want me to do it
-
I'd just print a back up ticket instead of taking the cancelation hit. Maybe just be straight up with the person you're talking to and let them know that you understand the importance of pre-orders and how cancelations affect them. If they still insist on being a dick about it. Pre-order the game and cancel it when you get your code. Building customer relations is something I specifically try to do I'm not going to pretend your twisting my arm, but its all about the kind of person you're dealing with. Just remember if they wanna be a dick to you, you can turn around and dick with them just as hard, those surveys can damn any employee if they get specifically called out on something and a "tanked" review.
-
Ha alright man thanks for all the info i learned Something today about GameStop thanks ill do that ill just tell em and if they still want the pre order knowing ill cancel oh well and if they pull some bull with me then ill do ur final resort ha im sure it won't come to that
-
Nah, most employees are regular people trying to make ends meet, they love gaming and want people to have fun. The managers are the more serious ones cause its their career. Just be straight up with them, I personally respect honesty rather then someone trying to weasel through the system thinking they're sly lol.

Ya for sure ha alright will do
