new headsets
Thanks to magnetizerr for pointing this out, but Sony Gold headsets are down to £60 at amazon. Now I can hear all re lovely DoD uk voices on 7.1 sound.

I have the Sony gold headset and it's absolutely fantastic. Best headset I've ever owned (for that price band) love the little customisations for certain games. Cool headset. I paid 90 for mine when fairly new on the market.

I've had Tritton AX Pro's for 5 years now and I can't fault them. Four speakers in each ear cup, very comfy for long sessions and you can change the individual volume on each channel (Front, Rear, Centre & Sub) As Tritton have superseded the Pro's with the redesigned Pro +'s, had to resort to eBay to buy a spare pair in case mine develop a fault ! Rich

I had mine delivered yesterday. I'm also really impressed, good sound, very easy to use, buttons in the right place. I tested it on Killzone yesterday. The different presets are a nice feature too. I didn't get the chance to test the mic, because the people I played with yesterday didn't speak English, German or Dutch. I did get a chance to use the button which regulates volume of chat opposed to game sound, that works brilliant too. all in all a good investment.

Took delivery of mine today - after the 3hr first charge, I had a little play tonight. Really impressed, good build quality, nice and comfortable with a great sound (at least to my ears). Yet to try the mic. - Well worth the £60.
