"Welcome Guardian, My name is Simbot-110904, but you can call me 'Sim' for short. We are proud to unveil our newest addition to the Tower, the Simulation Deck."
So, I keep hearing that a Forge gamemode does not fit in with the Destiny universe, Apparently this is due to Crucible maps being places based on the locations you visit. Well, what about a mode similar to Forge, but instead it's called simulation. We've got crazy magic flowing around the Tower, we can use that to our advantage! This suggestion is a MASSIVE undertaking so even if Bungie were to think about it don't expect it any time soon.
What Simulation would require to "fit in" with the Destiny universe? Well, here's a list for starters.
1. You may choose from four destination. Earth, Luna, Mars, and Venus are available through simulation. Choosing a planet will provide different effects such as the rain on Venus or the dust clouds on Mars.
2. Day/Night cycle control. Choose which time of day your simulation may run or simply allow it to run in default mode.
3. Choose between having weather effects or not.
4. Terrain modifier. You may modify the land by pushing and pulling, adding liquids and adding flora.
5. Each destination has unique bits to build with, but the majority of bits are universal.
6. Each bit has a unique texture corresponding to the planet chosen.
7. You can modify weapon spawn timers. IE special and heavy ammo drop times.
8. A Player may showcase their simulation to other players. These maps may also be played online through Crucible playlists.
9. Simulations can be transferred between same-gen consoles.
10. Last-gen and current-gen consoles have their own unique allocated budget to build in the simulation.
There's a multitude of ways to throw this into the ever expanding lore of Destiny. I mean just look at us, we can use space magic.
