Excuse me for asking, I can't find this answer any where. What are the penalties for joining a fire team where the level gap is extreme for example a 4 with a 18 hypothetically????

Edited by Qwerty: 8/17/2014 4:50:12 AMThe 4 would be seeing "??" And hanving ridiculous hitmarkers. The gaurdian will catch up quickly, though, so it shouldn't be that difficult. Levels for enemies are also situational, so a level 4 with a level 18 could easily handle the beta areas of Old Russia.

And I'll assume hitmarkers are like just our chance of putting ordinance on targets.

I use the term "hitmarkers" in general when refering to any non-kill shot in an FPS. Destiny doesn't actually feature hitmarkers, but you will be seeing a lot of nothing when hitting it.
