I have a question for PC players, does the hassle with playing on a PC get annoying? I mean you need to do thinks like clean the box, make sure you don't have viruses, get rid of trash data, defragment your hard drive, build the thing itself so it's not too expensive, and replace parts over time. Does this kind of stuff ever get irritating?

Yes actually, it does. Biggest annoyance is keeping up with hardware, and the money sink that is. And when the hardware gets dated adjusting the settings and tweaking ini's for hours until it's in a playable state. Which is why my old gaming rig is now gathering dust while my beautiful PS4 is on just about every night. Then there's the whole sitting at a desk for work 8 hours and then going home to continue sitting at a desk, give me my couch any day of the week.

I set up my rig to the tv all you need is wireless keyboard and mouse or a controller

X1 and PC player. Honestly, once I realized not to look at porn on my pc, don't need to "clean" it that much.
Biggest annoyance is keeping up with hardware, and the money sink that is.
You only need to upgrade about once every 2 years.
And when the hardware gets dated adjusting the settings and tweaking ini's for hours until it's in a playable state.
Takes about 5-10 mins of 'tweaking'.
Which is why my old gaming rig is now gathering dust
Sounds more like a 400$ Walmart crap computer.
give me my couch any day of the week.
You can connect your PC to your TV and use a controller while sitting on a couch. Even if you did have a gaming rig it's easy to tell your not a PC enthusiast, just a common, lazy plebeian.

And then there's motherboard and CPU upgrades, RAM, as well as cooling systems.
Takes about 5-10 mins of 'tweaking'.
Depending on system specs and trial and error
Sounds more like a 400$ Walmart crap computer.
$1500 mid grade custom built tyvm
You can connect your PC to your TV and use a controller while sitting on a couch.
Haven't found a PC controller that can stand up to the PS4. And the programs to use the PS4 controller on the PC suck. Silly little troll, PC gaming is dead and I'm just fine with children like you staying there. Have a nice life virgin :)

Xbox One controllers work with PC...the're just as good or even considered better by a lot of people.
-
Your use of plebeian and peasants as though we'll be insulted is a joke. If anything it only goes to reinforce your status as a 600 lb LARPing virgin. Go home troll, you're weak.
-
>Says he isn't insulted. >Goes on to use a generic insult. Being 15 and angry at the world is fun isn't it? Keep it up pleb. You're just furthering my point.

You sir have just missed your first lesson on how to have fun. Seriously why does the system matter? So what PC as better graphics and frame rate. In all honesty the differences between playing at 30fps and at 60fps never really hit me as that unmanageable and that horrific that I would need to come onto a gaming forum to spam about a "master race" of gamers. Sure you are the master race of spending money, but the ease of just having a game ready to go from the disc no downloading no installing required at least on the 360, is faster to get into the action. I'll admit I only use my PC for MOBA's, Strategy games and MMO's because they are the only available method for running those effectively. I don't need an expensive PC to have fun, I can have fun how I so wish and will continue to do so, you can go and have fun yourself just if you are having fun you should not feel the need to go blasting off with Master Race this and Console Plebeians that. Because in all honesty it just makes you seem like one pathetic idiot that can not live his life without the need for some other human to confirm your decisions in life. If and I bet you will come back with something to the effect of that is obviously not why you are doing this and you are simply trying to "Enlighten" so to say the "Console Plebeians". Then you my good sir can go live under the rock you crawled out from, live your life away from mine. This is my only and last post on this topic, I hope you have a good day and a reasonable future. Oh and if this is a troll attempt to bait I find that just as pathetic.
You sir have just missed your first lesson on how to have fun.
Having fun on inferior platforms. Kek
Oh and if this is a troll attempt to bait I find that just as pathetic.
No, what is pathetic is you telling me your pathetic, bleeding heart story. Have fun driving your 2003 Ford Focus while I'm out here in my 1967 Shelby Cobra.

Edited by Space Beaver: 8/17/2014 3:38:19 AMDoes it get annoying for automotive enthusiasts to keep building, taking apart and rebuilding cars?
No it doesn't. What is annoying is knowing that I'll see minimal improvements from a console of the course of its lifespan.
-
Honestly not seeing improvements in graphics isn't a big deal for me as long as the game looks nice. I'd want to build a PC eventually because all the games it has are just on 1 platform unlike on consoles where if I wanted to play skyrim, and the division, I'd have to play them on 2 different consoles. Though, having a PC seems like too much of a hassle, but if I get a console, I'll never have to worry about anything, I'll just put the game in the disc and play. My dad bought me a prebuilt PC, and it's already slowing down. I only use it to play 1 video game too.

Ur very defensive about pc why?
-
Have you not seen the rustling I have caused?
-
Carry on I play both pc and ps4 so idc

I think it depends. Because for some people its easy and others (me) dont know what the hell they are doing or how to fix what seems to be simple problem.
