Currently the only raid we have/datamined/will be in Destiny is the Vault of Glass that carries 6 people. This means the only way to go is up from 6, and the social connetivity encouragement Bungie is pushing would suggest a "the more the merrier" ideology for expanding in sequels/dlc

I believe DeeJ said in a recent interview that Destiny will ship with only one raid (Vault of Glass) and others will be added via DLC.

I have cut the great Outhouse organ into 3 pieces! I put one in a church. It is bright coloured and uniquely architectured. You could say I was [i]putin[/i] it in there because I wanted to see one. I put one in an opera house. I set it in the third room like a phantom! Right next to a [i]diggeridoo[/i]. I put the last one was a tough one, as I don't do good on inclines. After wading through clocks and cheese I got some [i]basil[/i]...err....no not got....let me check my map again. Ohhhhh...not basil...basi- nevermind.
