I dont know about a definite link to some official information, but here is what I gathered.
Toughness: Increase max health Speed: Increase movement speed and jump height Recovery: Increase speed of regen after regeneration kicks in
One of these is prominet in the original setup of each subclass that exemplifies the class it belongs to. Titans have high toughness, this was the reason they are considered harder to kill (using focus upgrades you can get a warlock to beat a titan in toughness. It just comes at a higher cost to speed and recovery then it would for a titan to increase toughness), Hunters have high speed, and Warlocks have high recovery.

How exactly do these effect pve and pvp. Also, does recovery effect the time it takes regeneration to start.

Edited by Qwerty: 8/15/2014 1:46:51 AMIf you played the alpha/beta (alpha exemplified a little more) you would have noticed the titans being slightly tougher to kill. That is why. Speed affects jump height and stuff, which isn't really noticeable (it is there). Recoverability and Toughness would make for the best gaurdian in both PvE and PVP No, it only affects after it starts to heal. The speed advantage in healing could save your life, though
