Tales from the Cryptarch: Class Overview

"Obviously, Titans are superior in every respect. Without Titans, the other two lesser classes wouldn't even exist." ~~Kalista the Titan "Oh, I love it when you Titans get uppity. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside." ~~The Cryptarch Volumes of information that detail the history of the 3 classes exist - their true origins are only slightly less well known. However, from the perspective of a respected businessman such as myself, the immature and snotty sibling rivalry I observe on a daily basis is still somewhat of a mystery. Titans seem to delight in pointing out the obvious in order to offend and provoke. Meanwhile, Hunters are given to bragging about their overall combat efficiency as much as possible. Finally, Warlocks never seem to miss an opportunity to let everyone else know just how smart they think they are. You'll notice I label the 3 classes as siblings, simply by virtue of the fact they're brothers and sisters in arms. They cooperate for maximum battlefield efficacy. Heroes are necessary in order for civilized society to function. What is seemingly unnecessary however, is that attitude which elevates the entirety of any given class based on the qualifications of a few individuals within that respected class. For example, as a Hunter in name only, you're no more valuable than a fledgling Titan or Warlock, etc. Our deeds are what define us as individuals, not our titles or lineage. Yet, the dangerous temptation of exclusivity spreads like cancer within the very walls of the city itself. It is ever present, threatening to tear the walls asunder, scattering the last vestiges of humanity to the winds of time. We must not allow that to happen. My survival depends upon your survival. (Please note: This is a work of FANFICTION only. In no way do ANY of my stories accurately represent current or future lore made by Bungie. As always thank you for your continued interest in my writing.)
