Forgive my ignorance, but I just came across this and don't know what to make of it just yet. I could see gamers using it in Destiny Crucible.
What do you guys think? Would you buy the Hipshotdot? Apparently they sell is at Gamestop.

It is obviously cheating. There may not be anything that can be done about it, but it is unfair. Take COD's EMP grenade that was an example in the video. It is supposed to take down your enemy's sights, which is a part of its design and advantage. However, this prevents that intended aspect of the game from taking place due to a user's circumventing design. But not only does this provide an unfair advantage, it limits what developers put into the game to try and create variety and balance. Hip firing in some games is meant to be harder, and part of that difficulty sometimes comes from no crosshairs, among other things. Now developers would have to rely on more randomness than they did before. Everyone can buy one, but that doesn't mean it's fair. Everyone could mod their systems, but that's considered cheating and you can get banned. The difference with this is that it can't be detected for and punished.
