best starter guitar??
Starting out playing the guitar, possibly around the £300 mark and LEFT-handed... Any suggestions? Acoustic, electric I'm not bothered I like them both equally. Thanks

My first one was a Squire Strat and I loved that one. Eventually when you are looking to upgrade I would look at a Les Paul. I have one made by Epiphone for only $500 and it plays like a $2000 model. *Edit* Any acoustic guitars are a good starter model because you'll end up building calluses and you'll get used to the harder string so that if you do switch over to electric it'll be that much easier
