Vulper basically summed it up. But, even playing Left 4 Dead multiplayer there was noticeable lag when it began to pour. Op is not just asking for some rain, either. Couple that with the majority of people who want more than just 16 players in the Explore Cosmodrome level and it'll soon become a lag fest.
