It would be very cool to have weather features in Destiny!! However, not trying to be a pain in your backside and the need to know value of this comment is probably .05% but I thought I'd let you know Earth is the mainstay of the fallen, Mars as you stated is for the Cabal, Venus is for the Vex (favourite enemy), and the Moon is the mainstay of the Hive. But as I said early I totally agree and it would be an awesome feature!!

I was in old Russia running a routine scan for Dead Orbit when a freak hail storm rolled in. Balls of ice as large as my fists came down in torrents, battering my energy shields and slowing their recharge. So I sprinted towards a nearby cave mouth and made my way into the dim area to watch the ice fall and wait out the storm. A short time later 3 Vandals scurried frantically into my cave shelter, with their arms covering their bowed heads, hoping to escape the hail. In their haste, they did not see me. A grim smile slowly formed beneath my helmet and my clenched fist began to crackle with dancing waves of electricity...

Yeah I don't think people realize how epic, even though a small detail, weather is!!

It seems the Fallen are everywhere, however. In the Moon mission in the Beta, there was an unknown house of Fallen. And gameplay has been seen that shows Fallen fighting with the Vex on Venus. It would make sense if they ended up on Mars, too! The Hive are also making a push onto Earth, as seen in the Beta as well.

Vex and cabal are at war with each other and I have seen the hive and fallen fighting several times. Hive were thought to be contained on the moon but they were in old Russia.
