Disagree. You are forgetting Free Radical Design. They made TimeSplitters which is quite a bit better than Halo.
Also, Raven software who made Singularity, which was a fantastic game with excellent lore.
id. Doom 3 had fantastic lore and I am looking forward to the new Doom game.
Volition. They made the Red Faction games.
There are others, but those are my tops.
