tell me a FPS developer that can make a fps game with good story and lore?

Bethesda game studios, Ubisoft, Irrational Games, DICE (Bad Company 1 & 2 era), Gearbox Software, Guerrilla Games, etc. The list goes on. Need I say more?

fall out and skyrim are nore pure FPS games. they are both fps and tps. ubisoft make a good fps sci fi game with good lore? nah Dice only does realistic stuff no good lore there. borderlands was ok. you need to say ones with good sci fi story telling and lore, other wise, bioshock, halo and crysis are the only good games with good lore.

You literally never said it had to be sci-fi. You've already lost this arguement. You said First person shooters. I gave you a list, and now you're just dodging my responses by saying they we're bad because they aren't sci-fi. You'd be a terrible game critic.

i said fps games with good lore. only three studios you posted has good lore for a sci fi fps. i didn't say their bad just not interesting to me. bungie is the best sci fi fps developer in the world. i wouldn't play games based in the modern age. so i wouldn't criticize dice, or ubisofts games because they dont make sci fi fps games. bethesda only makes RPG games. its not fps only.

You said Bungie is the only good fps developer. No where along the lines did you even mention Halo when saying that they were the best. You said story and lore. That's it.

true but it still stands bungie has the best lore and story telling for a sci fi fps developer. there will never be a greater sci fi fps developer other than bungie.

Also, Raven software who made Singularity, which was a fantastic game with excellent lore. id. Doom 3 had fantastic lore and I am looking forward to the new Doom game. Volition. They made the Red Faction games. There are others, but those are my tops.

I see. Radical is now with deep sliver btw Raven is. Cod support developer now Doom 4 yes Red faction is owned by someone else. All i need is no man's sky and star citizen.

remember this intro is WIP [spoiler]The universe was just nothing but darkness, from that darkness they came to be about. One that destroyed and one that created. From them the universe was able to be brought back to life. They were from the old worlds, which died from an unknown force. A force that still is a much of a threat to the universe. These two races are not the only ones that survived. There are others that live. Rebuilding their homes. But among them are three prime evils. A race that travels through the universe killing anything in their path, they are called the soulless. They are on a quest of ruling the cosmos.Another race that is rebuilding its army on Its home world. In hopes of being strong once again Before the old worlds died, they ruled most of the universe with an iron fist. Their name is predocs. the last one which is in hiding. Where no one knows but when they return the universe will once again know their name. And their name is the broken ones[/spoiler]

I'm guessing the story revolves around the broken ones? Or am I wrong? For a WIP, it's not bad. It has solid ground.

Edited by Ghost593835: 8/5/2014 8:07:03 PMthe story will revolve around all three and three more evils with in the universe. but it will also be about exploring the universe. the broken ones, soul less and predocs all have history of how they came about. why are the soul less , soul less? how can machine and organic metaril be together from the start? and what broke the broken ones ? all these questions would be answered in a novel i would write about a space explorer. all three are a danger, but i will focus on one at a time. the broken ones will be the first. and thank you

So is it one explorer discovering all of these or is it a new protagonist every single time it focuses on one of the three factions?
