This is a very deep question. I dont think they will kill them per say. But games will try to mimic Destiny for sure. They will reset the bar for whats expected or what can be from a game. IMO anyway.

sorry. i have not played any first person shooters besides halo with good lore. RPG games always have good lore. bungie is the only one to have good lore.

If you haven't played any other first person shooters other than Halo, then how can you even say that other developers don't have good stories and lore? That's a terrible argument.

i have played killzone, cod, BF, UT, crysis. and thats it out of all of them halo and crysis has the best lore. cod and BF dont have lore.
