Read the entire thread. Still confused about one thing though. I thought all of the enemy races worked for the darkness. Or is the darkness it's own thing and the enemy races are just byproducts of our destruction? Also anything on swords being heavy weapons? I heard bungie state they will not speak about it. But i've seen a pic (could have very well been CGI) with the back of a person who looked like they had a sword on their back. Lastly i'm pretty sure bungie confirmed what we datamined wasn't everything. Can you confirm if there is more then what we have seen? (like more exotic items or perhaps more raids or strikes? Not counting nightfall ones) Very last question sorry xD Do you know if nightfall raids are just the same raids but with enemies having higher health and different resistances? Or are they different enemies but in the same place?
I thought all of the enemy races worked for the darkness. The bio on Hive Wizards state they "manipulate the darkness" as well. It is hard to tell if they are refering to The Darkness or just the darkness. There is nothing known as to whether it is usable, I would assume no. There is Titan gear with a baton (its on the second version of all faction titan legs), bayonettes on weapons, and that wierd looking sword thing. I think they were planning it, but took it out. I could be wrong of course, but I would expect it to be in the sequels as oppose to this game.
Lastly i'm pretty sure bungie confirmed what we datamined wasn't everything. There was lots of unitentified code as well as the fact that it was beta (which means they are still adding and changing last minute things). It is not everything, but it is a rough estimate. The datamined info shows a smaller then anticipated Destiny that is still bigger then any CoD or other popular FPS. An IGN video discusses how these will be daily and weekly challenges.

  • Thanks for the reply. Different picture. But the blade sort of looked like that. Watched that video about nightfall and i guess since they didn't state otherwise it's probably the same enemies. I'd like to ask what's your personnel stance on the statement bungie made "we have revealed everywhere you can see in the first version of the game." It could mean places like old chicago since that was shown. But it also could mean not places like that and they refer to the videos showing the overhead display of places.

The concept is all in the grand scheme. I, as a player, want the most content they will give me. Its important to remember there will be 4 Destiny games. They need ways to expand, and adding more locations is one such way. If Old Chicago like locations show up in Destiny 1, it will be DLC or Multiplayer. They had to make Destiny from practically scratch, now that they have something to work off of I would expect a lot more content in Destiny 2.
here's hoping for Tigerman ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
