Okay! So, rather then searching through thread after thread and answering questions, I will just answer all that come through here. Ask for any kind of answer you want (my opinion, what we know for fact, what we speculate, what we data mined, ect.). Go Go Go!

6 Replies"WHAT IS THE REEF?" [quote]When the darkness arrived there was mass panic. Many humans fled to the ends of the world in an effort to escape this perilous fate. Those that fled returned different. These things, these "Awoken", realize that the world is greater then merely 'Dark' and 'Light'. A few Awoken went back to Earth, ready to stop fleeing, the others settled in an Asteroid belt located behind Mars, harboring a hatred for the Earth dwellers (especially Earth Awoken). The Reef Awoken are now ruled by a relentless and powerful Queen who provides safety and unity to survive these dark times. [b]What is "The Reef"?[/b] The Reef is a more hostile social hub that operates very similarly to the tower. The camera is third person, but your helmet will remain on. [b]What can I do there?[/b] You have some important things to accomplish when you visit the depths of the Reef: -Accept Bounties to earn the Queen's favour. Bounties will largely consist of killing the Queen's many enemies (Example: "Kill Rixis ArchonSlayer") -The Awoken are the gatekeepers to a lot of arcane knowledge, you'll need the Queen's favour to reach the Black Garden -The Reef features a "psuedo-faction" that operates just like the City factions. You wield a class item to earn XP, then spend the XP on exclusive weapons, gear, emblems, and shaders. All of these rewards are purple and feature the Crown of the Queen. [b]Qwerty Notes:[/b] This is my favorte area. The deep purples are great, Awoken are my favorite species, and the Queen is an interesting character. "The Crow" is the Queen's right hand man, and he was featured in 2013 Trailer saying "Why is the city breathing down my neck?"[/quote]

Is there any type of armor that cannot be affected by shaders (holographic armor etc.) Can we explore the Last city, or anything other than the tower? Will Old Chicago or any other explorable urban areas be in DLC or updates? Lastly, Will there be more customization options in the final game? (Hairstyles, Beards, Facial Features) Or atleast a place where you can edit what your guardian looks like? (Barber, Facial reconstruction etc.)

1 ReplyEdited by F3nixBL00D: 8/4/2014 10:50:03 PMA question on the "Darkeness" we know of the Darkness army that surrounds us "cutscene in the beta" which I believe the ghost was obviously talking about the Fallen,Hive,Cabal, and Vex but what exactly is the Darkness is it like the travler? Is it a single being or new alien? When they refer to the darkenss do they specifically refer to the other alien races that hate humans fallen vex ect. And how can they be the darknessess army if they are at war with eachother? Cabal hate Vex, Fallen hate the Hive, Fallen and Vex have some sort of alliance.

3 RepliesI'd like to ask another question. Bungie refered to the launch of the game as the "first version." The way i understood it that means they can add new missions or items in without downloads or patches. Do you think they can add whole other area's to explore that way? Or do you feel that would still require a download?

1 ReplyWill we be able to travel to areas such as Mercury, Europa, Derlict ship near Saturn and explore, Mercury was shown with a ship flying towards it in the Venus sharttered trailer and we have one Europa concept art and the ship that was orbiting Saturns ring. Last thing in a video of E3 2013 I believe a dev was talking and he turned around at the beginning part and said all of that area was explorable is this still true?

1 Replywill Bungie give feedback about the possibilities to put some ideas mentioned in this forum to be implemented in the game. example: ideas A,B, C can not be implemented because we have to rewrite the core system. we are looking at ideas D, E for the coming 6 months dont now Bungie and if the will listen to input from their community.
