Although lets remember in Iraq and Afghanistan nobody was fighting for anybodies freedom. Neither country attacked us. Our leaders have admitted that we could of got the Taliban to stop their support for AL-Qaeda by diplomacy. The Taliban never attacked us. Iraq was a threat, although mostly to those oil fields that we didn't want them to get their hands on.
I guess every war you fight is for our freedom though, right? I would be more than happy to pickup a gun if the war was just, although anybody who thinks they were fighting for freedom in the last two wars are -blam!-ing retarded!!!
9/11 - 90% of them were born and radicalized in Saudi Arabia, although we couldn't upset the precious king, could we? Even a NY court refused(well the government got involved and refused) to allow us to sue the hell out of them for "diplomacy reasons".
How come America needs to fight for their freedom and the majority of Europe don't? Some European countries have way more freedom than Americans, yet some of them didn't travel to Iraq or Afghanistan.
Good job drones will be replacing the majority of soldiers. What will happen? You will get laid off. Does the government look after you if you get your legs blown up? not really. You become useless and they give you a tiny check and a wheelchair.
