Question about halo reach
in the very beginning of halo reach, i think its june who says "welcome to reach" this confused me because i thought the spartan program was held on reach and reach alone.
so basically all the Spartans were raised there right ? since they were taken at about 6-9
june would know this from being a spartan too, so why would he welcome someone to a planet they were raised on?

No six was a S-III and the SPARTAN-III program was based on Onyx.

They've been on places other than Reach. Also were the SPARTAN IIIs raised on Reach? I don't even remember anymore. I know for sure that SPARTAN IIs were.

You can say welcome to someone who visited your house before. Same idea I'd think.
