I have a feeling this late in the stage it might be a lot more difficult to add them in then we think. Possibly something to do with system resources and clipping on armor and helmets? I'm not sure but I feel like there's a pretty significant reason why there's no beards. Me personally I'm at no loss without them, I'll never use them. If other people want them I see no harm in it though.
