Lol too bad I canceled mine because how bungie did that and didn't even think about the thousands of people that missed the 2 hours because they had work or something. They could of at lease put it up for an hour or don't even put the moon up, just give ALL the beta testers the exclusive emblem we deserve.. Thanks bungie. =\

Edited by Votable: 7/28/2014 7:19:13 AMYou're canceling your pre-order.......because you didn't get to do 1 short mission on the moon? As for the reward, which I am grateful to have (hopefully ;-;), is just a gold and teal emblem. Can only imagine what you would do if you missed getting a cupcake from a co-worker.

I'm not mad but it was stupid. Most betas I've played increase content every couple of days but Bungie was far too erratic with this. The Iron Banner had weird times you could play it, and the fact they added one moon mission the day before the beta closed is just strange. I understand Bungie owes me nothing, and I could careless about an emblem, but the beta schedule was just stupid. However, I'm very excited and felt fortunate to be able to play this game a month and a half before release. They definitely seem to have an awesome game on their hands. Can't wait for release.

Bungie put out plenty of notice and gave tons of hints and even directly stated a day early that they would unlock the moon for a couple hours. It was one mission, 10 maybe 15 minutes long. I found about 3 loot crates on it I think. The mission was cool but it wasn't life changing. It's going to be a great game and when it comes out you can play the moon mission all you want. Pretty retarded to cancel your preorder just because you didn't get to play a short moon mission yet.

+1 I agree...i hope bungie was just joking due to trying to get people on during those times and they give beta users regardless of whether they were on the emblem...Otherwise I will be extremely disappointed in Bungie

I'm canceling my pre order because how bungie didn't notice all of these fans that didn't get to play moon..

Who says they "didn't notice you", the whole point of the moon and Iron Banner was to make large groups of players log on and play in a short space of time. This is called stress testing its to make sure the servers won't overload and crash on day one when everyone logs on at once, this is also something many game developers don't seem to do enough, they pick times for these when they beleive most people will be able to play (stress test) like weekends and evenings, if you had work, party, funeral, family event, had to take a shit, too bad! Its a videogame at the end of the day and it makes you sound about 12 when you post on a forum about how upset you are because you didnt get to play the supersecretawesomemap because bungie cares about everyone BUT YOU because you don't work a 9-5 5 days a week.
-
Understandable, I personally work 9-5, my issue isn't even the moon part. I'm fine with playing it during opening day and after because I'm not missing out. I'm just sad that because I couldn't be on during a certain time I will never get the special emblem. That's all, I probably won't even care when the game comes out, but at the moment it pains me to know that people who didn't even preorder the game will be getting an emblem because they had free time during a specific time on a specific day. Would have made more sense to just give everyone on the beta the emblem. Oh well

i am planning on making a personal list of all people who say they cancel there orders or some other reason then at 9-9 if they login i will know. then i have a nice blacklist for people i can block don't feel the need to play with such negative nay sayers.

Edited by Albus Dumbledore: 7/28/2014 12:59:55 PMThat's a great idea! I've literally seen around 100 people say they are cancelling pre order over some ridiculous shit like this. Guarantee 95% log in day 1. I hate all the negativity.

Most of the people are just joking. It seems to be the ongoing joke in the forums to "cancel Preorder"
