Only he doesn't since it clearly says race at the top when you're making your character, had he said Spanish or Asian I would have agreed since those are races.

I'm not trying to argue that it is a race but that it simply may as well be because they've generally genetically isolated themselves for such a lengthy period of time, nothing I say is going to change the way you interpreted the post and vice versa so I don't have any intentions of arguing further
