Did you ever used a Mac? Seems not like it.. If you wanna point with a "lightning fast boot" with a windows then okay windows fanboy :) there is more important things than a boot time or a design to a perfect OS. my Mac is running constantly and only reboot for updates or OS Upgrades, other than that the machine is running none stop. I'd like to see that happen with a win 8/8.1 ☺️. What ever, if you never experienced OSX then you should start to. If you're concerned about the price that's no big downer there are already easy ways to get osx running on a usual none apple system. You just need some IT knowledge, compatible hardware * mainly CPU and gpu* and a working brain.. Google for hackintosh also AMD Phenoms and newer AMD CPUs are no problem anymore. If its really important to you to know how much faster osx boots, take the ride with your system I promise, you won't regret ;)
