My favorite was Shruikan. For such an enormous crazed dragon he went down pretty easily. I wish Paolini had done more with him. He had such potential as a terrifying enemy.

I liked Saphira the best. I think Thorn had a lot more potential, I hate how he was evil. I guess the reader is supposed to feel that way though

He was never evil. He and Murtagh were just doing what Galbatorix told them to because they swore loyalty to him on the Ancient Language and he knew their true names. Have you read Inheritance? Hopefully Paolini will follow Thorn and Murtagh in some new books based in Alagaesia.

Oh, yeah. Its still one of the greatest I've ever read. Besides, Paolini will write new stories based in Alegaesia. I read some kind of conclusion he wrote and he said he wouldn't abandon Alagaesia.
