I've said it before, but this is why Bungie is not making a WindowsPhone app. It seems a bit childish to me, and is a poor business decision, considering the expanding market share WP can expect, especially overseas. But since porting to WP is so easy, the only reason they would not make an app is out if spite.

Out of spite or out of business sense? http://dzfocdn.dazeinfo.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/smartphone-platform-US.png

Considering the time and cost to make a basic port? Most definitely spite.

What is a basic port? You can only port an app with a universal language or style. Like Flash or Java on a computer or Phonegap or Cordova on a mobile device. The Bungie app is made specifically for iOS and Android. From the ground up. Only thing they could port is menus and possibly XML files if they used XML at all. So the ease of a "port" doesn't apply here because Bungie optimized their specific app for Android and iOS. The languages aren't universal.

There is a PC version, right?

No. Not of the Destiny app...

That chart is old, WP is at 5%

Here's something to shed some light on Bungie if they think its because of small ecosystem. https://medium.com/@tjesboogie/heres-how-many-downloads-you-get-on-windows-phone-c4395cc96104

1,500 downloads a week is nothing for the iOS App Store though. There are apps that do 50,000 downloads a week and don't break the top 25 in the App Store. 1,500 is probably very successful for WM but compared to Android and iPhone it isn't much.

^ I really hope that is not the case..... But we shall see i guess.
