Hitler killed six million Hindus instead. How would Hitler be perceived today? Would the holocaust be talked about as much?

Edited by Uncle Putin: 7/16/2014 11:32:24 AMUm... yes? It wasn't such a big deal BECAUSE they were Jews. It WAS a big deal moreso than the other mass slaughters out there because it was the brain child of the most dangerous person in the world, a person trying to take over the world and trying to destroy every single nation out there. Of course it would get more attention. Pictures of it were at the forefront of the media because it was what Hitler was doing, our greatest threat to peace at the time. It had nothing to do with them being Jews. The reason murderers like Mao, Stalin, Pol Pot (is that how you spell it?) didn't get as much attention is because they weren't necessarily threatening world peace. They were just destroying their own little corner of the world. Doesn't make it right that we give the Jews more attention but the culture of the media and the state of the world at the time around these mass murders dictates that the public paid more attention to the Jews. Again, why is this? Because the same person who was killing millions of Jews and other undesirables was also trying to take over the -blam!-ing world. He was our closest and most dangerous threat. That's why we paid attention to what he did.
